Georgia is home to Coca-Cola’s global HQ and a dense, mature beverage manufacturing base built up around Atlanta over more than a century.

That means more co-packers to choose from, but also more competition for capacity.

Manufacturers seeking HPP services for their smaller startup should look to Florida, the Carolinas, and Tennessee.

What is a copacker?

A co-packer owns the facility, the equipment, and the certifications. You bring the formula and the relationship. Finding the right one is the hardest part of scaling a beverage brand — most aren’t listed anywhere useful, don’t respond to cold email, and won’t take on a new client without a referral or a minimum order that rules out early-stage brands entirely.
